Classes And Class Schedule
Public classes are offered in the form of both lecture and work-group. You must have attended one lecture series to be able to participate in the work-group. Several times a year we offer a public lecture series followed by a 6 week work-group. There is no workgroup following our Summer lecture series.
There is no formal cost to any class offered at the Gnostic Academy. A donation of $10/class is suggested and gladly accepted. The Academy is run entirely on volunteer labor. Donations go directly to the basic expenses of supporting the functioning of the Academy.

The Portland Gnostic Academy invites you to our summer lecture series:
Awakening the Inner Mind, An Introduction to Gnosis: Intimate, Intuitive Self-Knowledge.
This 7-week course will be held Wednesday evenings, beginning June 8th, 2011. Each class will begin promptly at 7:30 with a meditation practice, after which there will be a lecture and time for questions.
Course Topics Include:
*The Necessity of Meditation & Mindfulness on any path towards Awakening Consciousness
*Accessing Superior States of Consciousness
*Deity, Seity, and Inner Divinity
*The Many Dimensions of the Human Being
*Gnostic Kabbalah
*Developing Intuition
*Comprehension and Elimination of the Sources of Suffering
Please call or email us to register, space is limited. All classes are offered free of formal charge. A donation of $10 per lecture is suggested and gladly accepted. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Classes are held at the Northwest Neighborhood Cultural Center at 1819 NW Everett St, Portland, 97209.
